NOTE:  When using the ice kit-------- If the jigging action is not stable due to the weight of your ice rig (the unit is off center), please adjust legs to support jigging action

HOW TO SET UP YOUR JIG-OR NAUT

• Install batteries (unit should be off, if not turn the speed adjustment until it clicks off)

• Install the Trigger Group and secure with thumbscrew. Trigger group should be facing up as depicted above 

• For the ice- attach the ICE KIT with thumbscrew, Don't OVER TIGHTEN

• For the tripod- Do not install the ICE KIT, just screw down the unit on the tripod, Don't OVER TIGHTEN

• Select 1 of the 3 included cams and install with the thumbscrew 

• Clip on the rod loop that's included in the package, rod loop is positioned on the tip of rod

• Set the trigger to the desired resistance

• Set ice rod in the rod holder and bend the tip down while looping the rod loop over the stainless steel pin and slowly put pressure on the set trigger mechanism. Drape the line over the Y at the end of the Trigger Group (DO NOT STAND ABOVE THE ROD IN CASE THE ROD RELEASES FROM THE TRIGGER) Stand to the side when setting trigger!

• Turn on the unit to the desired speed

• When the fish strikes, the hook will set automatically. Grab the rod and reel in the fish!

• The unit should be stored in a dry area after use
